What We Collect

Contact form submissions. When you use the contact form at keystackstudio.com, you provide your name, email address, subject line, and message. This information is transmitted directly to trevor@keystackstudio.com and is not stored in a third-party database.

Standard server logs. Like all web servers, our hosting provider may automatically record your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited when you access our sites. These logs are retained by the hosting provider for operational purposes and are not analyzed by us for marketing.

No account data. None of our current products require account creation. We do not collect usernames, passwords, payment details, or profile information.

Third-party fonts. Our sites load the Plus Jakarta Sans and IBM Plex Mono fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Google may log the request, which can include your IP address. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

How We Use It

• Contact form data is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
• Server logs are used by our hosting provider for security and operational monitoring.
• We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or marketing.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We do not share your information with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

• Hosting providers. Our sites are hosted on third-party infrastructure. Hosting providers have access to server logs as part of normal operations.
• Legal obligation. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of KeyStack Studio or others.

Data Retention

Contact form emails are retained in our inbox until manually deleted. Server logs are retained per our hosting provider's standard policies (typically 30–90 days). Local storage data (game state, quiz streaks) lives on your own device and is never transmitted to us.

Your Rights

California residents (CCPA). You have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, request deletion of your personal information, and opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell information). To exercise these rights, email trevor@keystackstudio.com.

EEA/UK residents (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The legal basis for processing contact form submissions is your consent (submitting the form). To exercise your rights, contact trevor@keystackstudio.com.

Children

Our products are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Acceptance

By accessing or using any KeyStack Studio website or product, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

Permitted Use

Our products are provided for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

• Use any product in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our products
• Use automated scripts or bots to access our products at scale in a way that disrupts normal operation
• Circumvent any technical measures we have implemented
• Use our products to distribute malware, spam, or harmful content

Finlit.day is a free educational tool. AI Overlord Sim is a free browser game. Both are provided for entertainment and educational purposes only — content is not financial, legal, or professional advice.

Intellectual Property

All content on KeyStack Studio sites and products — including text, graphics, code, design, and branding — is owned by KeyStack Studio LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our products and websites are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. KeyStack Studio makes no warranty that:

• The services will meet your requirements
• The services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Any information obtained through the services will be accurate or reliable

Educational content on Finlit.day is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KeyStack Studio LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or any other losses arising from your use of or inability to use our services.

In no event will KeyStack Studio's total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you paid KeyStack Studio in the twelve months preceding the claim (or $100 USD if you paid nothing).

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this section will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of our products after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Our Commitment

KeyStack Studio LLC is committed to ensuring that our websites and products are accessible to people with disabilities. We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, which covers a wide range of recommendations for making web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.

Accessibility is a continuous effort. We review our sites regularly and address barriers as we find them.

Measures We Take

• Semantic HTML structure with appropriate heading hierarchy
• Sufficient color contrast ratios for text against background (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text)
• All interactive elements are keyboard-navigable
• Navigation menus include ARIA labels and are operable without a mouse
• Images include descriptive alt text where content is meaningful
• Form inputs are labeled explicitly with associated <label> elements
• Pages have descriptive <title> elements and meta descriptions
• Focus states are visible on interactive elements
• Sites do not rely solely on color to convey meaning
• Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality

Conformance Status

We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across all KeyStack Studio properties. We do not claim full conformance at this time — our sites are actively maintained by a single developer and accessibility improvements are ongoing.

AI Overlord Sim contains interactive game elements. We aim to ensure core game interactions are keyboard-operable and that screen reader users are not excluded from meaningful gameplay.

Known Limitations

We are actively working to address the following:

• AI Overlord Sim: Some game animations and rapid visual updates may present challenges for users with photosensitive conditions. We recommend reducing motion via your operating system's accessibility settings.
• We conduct informal testing and do not currently have a formal third-party accessibility audit completed. We welcome reports of any barriers encountered.

This accessibility statement is provided in keeping with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, as well as international standards. Finlit.day — Local Storage

Finlit.day stores the following data in your browser's localStorage (not cookies) to preserve your experience between visits:

• Your current quiz streak count and last-played date
• Your selected difficulty preference
• Today's quiz completion status
• Flashcard progress state (if used)

This data lives entirely on your device. It is never transmitted to KeyStack Studio or any third party. Clearing your browser's site data for finlit.day will erase this information.

AI Overlord Sim — Local Storage

AI Overlord Sim stores the following data in your browser's localStorage to save your game state between sessions:

• Token count and generation rate
• Purchased upgrades and unlocked milestones
• Total time played and session timestamps

This data lives entirely on your device. It is never transmitted to KeyStack Studio or any third party. Clearing your browser's site data for aioverlordsim.com will reset your game.

Third-Party Requests

Our sites make the following external requests which may involve cookies or logging by the third party:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) — loads our typefaces. Google may log the font request. See Google's Privacy Policy. To avoid this, you can block external font requests in your browser; the sites will fall back to system fonts.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising or behavioral tracking services.

Your Control

You can manage or clear local storage data through your browser's developer tools or settings:

• Chrome / Edge: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data → Cookies and other site data
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data
• Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data

Clearing site data for finlit.day will reset your quiz streak. Clearing site data for aioverlordsim.com will reset your game progress. There is no way to recover this data after clearing.

To block Google Fonts requests, you can use a browser extension such as uBlock Origin, or configure your browser to block third-party scripts. Our sites will still function without the custom fonts.
